About the Feast of Color Retreat in Morocco
This is an invitation to join Sober Artist & Coach Tammi Salas for hands-on color labs + simple bookbinding, all while we retreat in the colorful, bustling city of Marrakech. Your senses will be ignited, color will flood your field of vision + you will probably drink more mint tea than you ever thought possible!

Create a one-of-a-kind book during your week of travel
Play with color in a non-precious way
Use your intuition as a guiding force for mark-making
Notice the details in your daily doings + capture them on paper

Itinerary
DAY 1 MARRAKECH
Arrive Marrakech - private transfer to our riad. Settle in. Welcome dinner at the riad
(please arrive by 5 pm at Marrakech Airport).
DAY 2 MARRAKECH
Morning routines and breakfast at riad. Guided visit of the city center & medina/souks.
Free time - lunch on your own.
Afternoon rest.
DINNER at NOMAD (rooftop) restaurant.
DAY 3 MARRAKECH
Morning routines, program work assignment with Tammi and breakfast at the riad.
Yves Saint Laurent Museum & Jardin Majorelle.
Lunch at/near the museum - as a group.
Free time to explore the colors of Marrakech.
DINNER at the riad.
DAY 4 MARRAKECH - ATLAS MTNS
Morning routine, program check-in with Tammi and breakfast at the riad.
Visit to a Berber family for a tea ceremony and lunch with the family. (1+ hr drive into the mountains).
*Possibility to take donkey ride part of the way up the road/arrive by donkey
Free night/dinner and on your own.
DAY 5 MARRAKECH
Morning routine, program check-in with Tammi and breakfast at the riad.
Artist/artisan tour with local guide Rachid (focusing on rugs and home design)
Lunch at El Finn (rooftop).
Shopping and exploring the souks.
DINNER at the riad.
DAY 6 MARRAKECH
Morning routine and breakfast at the riad. Program work with Tammi.
Free time - lunch on your own.
Visit to a local hammam/spa day.
DINNER at the riad.
DAY 7 MARRAKECH
Breakfast at the riad.
Caftan, spices and accessory shopping with our local guide.
Free time - lunch on your own.
Farewell dinner at Dar Yacout.
